Tyanne D. Duncan

Tyanne DeNene Duncan was born on July 20, 1968 to Phillip S. Mozee and Mary Louise Duncan. She was raised and educated in Des Moines. Tyanne graduated from Hoover High School. With hopes to further her education Tyanne attended Des Moines Area Community College. She was employed with the State of Iowa for 10 years. It was always instilled in Tyanne to have a good job to be able to care for herself and her future family.

Tyanne absolutely loved being with her family. She was a natural caregiver and would give her last to anyone in need. She loved cooking and making dressing during the Thanksgiving season was her specialty. She could be looked up to as a big sister to all. Tyanne enjoyed doing hair. She could really fry some hair! With her great love for people, she was a great friend to everyone. To know her was to love her.

On September 4, 2017 Tyanne made her transition from life here on earth into life eternal. She was preceded in death by her father, Phillip S. Mozee; grandparents; and a host of family members and friends.

She will forever be remembered by her fianc, Tory Galvin; honorary children, ZeNari King Wright and Trinity Galvin; mother, Mary L. Duncan; stepfather, David "Nokie" Payne; siblings: Phillip Duncan, Sr. (Shannon Struble), Anthony "Tony" Mozee, Torional "Troy" Tolson, Sr., Terence "T" Tolson, Sr., Rodney "Omar" Dysart, Anthony Marshall, Jerome Marshall, Alonzo Jeffries, Moniqueca "Moni" Duncan (Davon Smith), Shawntel Sahm, Phyllisha "Phee" Duncan (Nichole Crockett), Syreeta Little, Amanda Duncan (Clifford Fisher), Janyshya Tolson, Latyia Johnson, DeOndra Ashby, Barshawda Lea, Trazy Hendriz, Iris Denise Morgan, Deloris "Starr" McGregor, Sophis Morris, Vickie Hunter and a host of nieces, nephews along with extended family members and many friends.Visitation
