Troy Franklin Jones, 53, passed away on July 19, 2017 at Mercy Hospice in Johnston, Iowa. A public visitation will be held from 10:00 a.m. until 5:00 p.m. at Hendersons Highland Park Funeral Home on Friday, July 28th, 2017. Funeral services will be held on Saturday, July 29th, 2017, at the St. Paul A.M.E. Church in Des Moines, Iowa, with a family visitation from 11:00 a.m. until 1:00 p.m. Funeral services will follow at 1:00 p.m.

Troy is survived by his mother: Barbara Jones; children: Chrystal (Marlon) Thompson, Troy Jones Jr., Dwan (Kyrie) Jones, Emmitt Battle. Nyssa Foster, Brandon Foster, Brian Foster; siblings: Wanda Carol and Larry Jones, Norma Crawford; 4 grandchildren and a host of nieces and nephews. Visitation
