Tony Heath

Tony M. Heath was born to William S. and Doloris M. Heath on May 12, 1954 in Des Moines, Iowa. Tony was educated in the  Des Moines Public School System and graduated from North High School. He worked for Firestone for a number of years.

 Tony had an interest in cars, his favorite being the Royal Blue 1972 Chevy Monte Carlo. He was also a competitive sports fan. Tony rooted for his favorite NFL team, Kansas City Chiefs. Tony loved his family very much. He would often make long distance calls to his nieces, grand-nieces and nephews, sending them cards for birthdays and holidays. Tony had a love for good soul food and desserts, especially when prepared by his late mother and grandmother.

Tony passed away on November 24, 2023 at University Park Nursing and Rehabilitation where he resided for the past several years. Preceding him in death was his father, William S. Heath; mother, Doloris M. Heath and grandmother, Leola G Chaney
Withers.  

Tony leaves to cherish his memory a brother, William Bernard B. Heath; sister, Karen Heath; nieces, Dana M. Heath and Andrea Hull (Ronald); grand-nieces, Canisha Bowie and Ranisha Bowie; grand-nephews, Dedric Armon Roland Jr. and Steven Perry, Jr.; two great-grand-nieces and two great-grand-nephews, along with a host of cousins, dear friends and acquaintances.
