Terry Jean Woods-Daniels was born April 12, 1962 in Des Moines, Iowa to Gilbert Charles Woods, Sr. and Alva Jean (Woolery) Daniels. She was educated in the Des Moines Public School System and graduated from Roosevelt High School.

Most of Terrys working days she was a Clerk for the State of Iowa. She was also employed at the Marriott Hotel.

Terry accepted Christ as her Lord and Savior at an early age. She was a member of Our Saviors Baptist Church under the leadership of Pastor Isaiah Brown.

Terry was full of life and joy, but was yet a very private person. She enjoyed bowling and basketball. Terry always enjoyed listening to 70s music and attending concerts. Hearing the thunderstorms was also music to her ears. Terry was a great cook who knew her way around the kitchen She knew how to fix chicken 50 different ways. As a Party Animal, Terry always knew how to have a good time. She was a good dancer and liked to shoot pool. And Terry had a great love for dogs

Terry transitioned from this earthly life to her eternal life March 5, 2022. She is preceded in death by her parents, Gilbert C. Woods, Sr. and Alva J. Daniels; brother-in-law, Jasper Wilson; mother-in-law, Darlene Woods; father-in-law, Richard "Pete" Daniels and sister-in-law, Sandra McGhee.

Left to cherish Terrys memories are her daughter, Natasha D. Woods; sister, Lynette Richardson; brothers, Gilbert C. Woods, Jr.; Desi Woods, Sr and Richard Daniels., cousin, Robert Dawson; two granddaughters and a host of nieces, nephews, cousins and friends.
