Tarez Williams

Tarez Lee Matthew Williams, 18 years old of Des Moines, Iowa passed away on Friday, May 31, 2024, surrounded by his loving family at Methodist Medical Center in Des Moines, Iowa. 

Tarez was born on April 22, 2006, in Des Moines, Iowa to his father, Samuel Washington and mother, Latice Williams. He grew up in Des Moines, where he attended North High School and later attended Starts Right Here. 

Tarez enjoyed hanging out with family and friends. He loved playing basketball and football. Tarez also spent time rapping in the studio. 

Tarez was preceded in death by his great-great-grandma, Ella B. Tate; aunt, Beatrice Taylor; uncles, James Millsap, Robert Millsap and Gregory Davis. 

Left to cherish Tarez in loving memory are his: great-grandma/guardian, Dian Millsap; parents, Samuel Washington and Latice Williams; sisters, Dian Williams and Samyaha Williams; grandpa, Phil Millsap; grandma, Phylis Williams; brothers, Darius Williams and Eli Parnell; along with a host of aunts, uncles, cousins and friends.
