Shirlee Mae Wilson Passed away June 13, 2023

A Memorial Visitation will be held at 6 PM Thursday, June 22 at Henderson's Chapel.

Shirlee Mae Wilson was born November 28, 1939 to Jasper Dean Wilson and Oakley Mae (Farrah) in Osceola, Iowa. She attended and graduated from Osceola High.

Shirlee worked at Calvin Community as a Dietitian and took care of her patients like family for more than 10 years. Shirlee was a loving, big-hearted person who loved her work. She was a great mom and she could and would keep secrets. She was a good cook, for Thanksgiving she would make 2 dinners, one for her and one for Kathy. Shirlee traveled extensively in her younger days. When her parents became elderly, Shirlee stayed home to care for them. She was a people person, but her dogs were her best friends.

Shirlee Mae Wilson passed away on June 13, 2023. She was preceded in death by her parents, Jasper Wilson and Oakley Mae Wilson; 2 brothers, Jasper Dean and Lowe Wilson; and sisters, Vicki Campbell– Worthington and Gloria Burrell.

Shirlee leaves to cherish her memory: her children, Anthony “Tony” Taylor and Tonya Darlene Cooper; her brother, Robert Wilson; grandchildren, Shakira and Kevin; some great grandchildren, ; her son-in-law, Roger Hill; special niece, Kathy Carter; along with a host of extended family and friends.
