Scalicity Angel Perez-Boyd

Scalicity Angel Boyd Perez was born February 5, 1993 in Des Moines, Iowa to Shalisha Barber and Scott Perez. She was educated in the Des Moines public school system where she graduated from Roosevelt High School.



Scalicity was employed as a call center representative for Ketecho. That was just a job though. Scalicity's main job was caring for her babies; they were her world. She loved being a mother and doted on her children. She was a nurturing and caring person who loved taking care of people. She took care of her close friends like they were her children, also. Her other job was being a "fashionista". She could really dress to impress. Shalicity learned to cook over the phone. She would call her mom to ask about recipes and they would cook together over the phone. She actually got pretty good at it.



Shalicity was married to Adam Boyd and they raised all their children together. Scalicity was part of a large blended family where she learned "love was the key."



And suddenly she was gone. Scalicity was carried away to Heaven on November 23, 2015. She was greeted on the other side by numerous aunts, uncles and her grandparents.



Left to mourn Scalicity's passing are her husband, Adam Boyd; her children, Aniyah, Zarii, Adam and Zaynirah; her parents, Scott Perez, Sr. and Shalisha Barber; her siblings, Scott Perez, Jr, Scotniesha Perez; five step brothers and sisters; god brothers and sisters, James Wright, Sedeaza Cox, Kayla, Aliysa, Danny and Tweet Johnson; her brothers and sister in law, Phillip Conley, Marcus Coleman, Rahsaan Conley, Raymond Conley, Damion Coleman, Austin Boyd, Giovanni Setaro and Megan Setaro along with a host of extended family and many, many friends.
