Roxanne (Patton) Claytor was born on October 4, 1960 to James Wade Patton and Margo Bradley, in Des Moines, IA. She was educated in the Des Moines Public School District and graduated from Des Moines Technical High School.
Along life's path Roxanne met Albert Claytor. Albert would date and court Roxanne until she accepted his hand in marriage on February 12, 1989. The two were blessed with three sons: Albert Jr., Bradley and Cameron.
Roxanne confessed Jesus Christ as her Lord and Savior at a young age. She was a long time member of Maple Street Baptist Church where she served in many capacities including that of church secretary.
Roxanne worked as an Intake Representative for the State of Iowa for 18 years.
Roxanne was called from labor to reward on September 5, 2015. She was preceded in death by her mother, Margo Bradley.
Left to cherish Roxanne's memory is her husband of 35 years, Albert Sr.; sons, Albert Jr., Bradley and Cameron; 3 sisters, Rachelle (Warren) Ross, Marguerite (John Bragg) Patton and Donna (Marvin) Wesley, 12 other siblings; 6 grandchildren and a host of other relatives and friends.
