Rocky Duane Roland

Rocky Roland passed away on May 29, 2020. A private graveside was held on June 8, 2020.

Rocky Duane Roland was born on May 17, 1951 to Clinton and Gloria (White) Roland, in Des Moines, IA. He graduated from Des Moines Technical High School and later started his automotive detail service. Roland Clean Car Service was known for his personal touch in seeing his clients drive away satisfied.

As an adult, Rocky returned to Tech High to work as an Assistant track coach. He also spent time watching Nascar Races. Rocky was blessed with three children: Rockisha, Tiffany and Alvin. Rocky eventually retired and relocated to Kissimmee, Florida until his death.

Rocky passed away on May 29, 2020. He was preceded in death by his parents, Clinton and Gloria White-Roland; sister, Donna Griffith and brothers, Keith Roland, Kenneth Roland, Richard Scott and Clifford Roland.

Rocky leaves to cherish his memory his children, Rockisha Roland, Tiffany Irvin and Alvin Gaskin; grandchildren, Carter Diggs, Kavion Gaskin, Deviace Williams, Dijour Irvin, Cartier Gardner, Cincere Lowery and Treslaila Hall; siblings, Roselee Roland-Weber and Darryl Norvelle Roland Sr. and a host of other relatives and friends.
