"Dynamite comes in small packages!" so the saying goes. And thats how Robin Vernetta Tucker described herself. The third child in a family of eight, Robin was a fire cracker! Determined, busy, always on the go, challenging bullies, questioning the status quo and curious about the world around her, she lit up the room with her smile.
Robin was born December 20, 1956 to Charles Lou and Carrie Busch in Independence, MO. The family moved to Des Moines when she was in middle school and she completed her education at North High School. She furthered her education by attending Wright Technical Institute where she attained Certification as a Surgical Tech. She was also trained as a Medical Transcriptionist and was valedictorian of her class.
Robin was the devoted mother of one child. Dwane Lee Cason, Jr was the reason she got up in the morning. She crisscrossed the United States keeping up with him. She was there when he took his first breath, and fittingly, he was there when she took her last. Robin loved life and lived every minute. She made a mean guinea grinder, loved all kinds of music; collected black angels, loved shopping, praise dancing, Bible study and above all spending time with her son and family.
When her health began to fail, she never complained. She just got closer to her God. On December 21, 2020 God called Robins name and she willingly answered. She was preceded in death by her father, Charles Lou; her mother, Carrie Busch; her daughter, Kizma Tucker; grandmother, Carrie B. Henderson; uncles, Raymond and Louis Busch and her niece, Tamara Burse and nephews, Anthony Mure and Obell Burse.
Robin leaves fond memories with her only child Dwane Cason, Jr; her siblings, Walter Tucker, Jonathan Ware, Norburn Logan, Alberta Logan, David Burse, Nova Spinks, Copa Burse, Darlene (Ray) Lewis, along with a host of nieces, nephews, great nieces and nephews, extended family and close friends.Visitation
