Ricco's Story
Ricco Ray Morrow was born on May 23, 1988 to Vernice Ronetta Kemp (Morrow) and Raymond Eugene Hayes Jr. in Columbia, MO.
Ricco graduated from Urbandale High School in Des Moines. During his time in high school, Ricco was an ALL AROUND ATHLETE. He was so good at football he was able to get a scholarship from Ellsworth Community College in Iowa Falls, IA. He was also a great basketball player.
Ricco had many talents and hobbies. He played slow pitch softball and could play all the infield positions. Ricco loved coaching softball as much as playing. He coached his daughter and nieces softball team. Ricco was the KING of telling jokes and always tried to get you to laugh. His favorite snack was Little Debbie's Zebra Cakes, and anybody's Mac & Cheese. While Ricco was not a good cook, he was a master on the grill. He enjoyed traveling, spending time with family and entertaining friends. He loved singing and was a great dancer. He was absolutely the life of the party!
And suddenly he was gone. On July 5, 2022 he was reunited on the other side with his daughter, Payton Renee Morrow; grandparents, Wayne Arthur Morrow, Edna Lucille Hayes, and Raymond Eugene Hayes Sr.
Left to cherish Riccos memory are his daughter, Arianna Morrow; his parents, Vernice (Morrow) Kemp and Raymond Hayes Jr; siblings, Angie Hayes Farmer (Jonathan), Chasity Martin, Nikkole Buwalda, Shannon Morrow, Aaron Eugene Hayes, Reggie Hayes Jr., and Brandon Morrow; grandparents, Wilma Morrow and Ralph Trumbo Jr, along with a host of nieces, nephews, cousins, extended family and friends.
His loving heart has now made him a HERO!Funeral Service
