Reverend Herbert Lee Mcmillion Obituary (1948

Reverend Herbert McMillion, 72, passed away November 29, 2020. Reverend McMillion was born in Brinkley, Arkansas to Odom McMillion Sr. and Janie Hall McMillion He graduated high school in Arkansas and was also inducted into the United States Army where he served honorably. He moved to Des Moines and received his call into the ministry. He served at Morning Star Missionary Baptist Church and Shiloh Missionary Baptist Church. Reverend McMillion was also a Truck driver and carpenter for many years. He loved doing yard work, baking and cooking with his great grand children. He was also a huge football and basketball fan. Reverend McMillion is survived by his children, grandchildren, great grandchildren and siblings along with a host of nieces, nephews extended family, friends and his wife. A memorial service will be held at a later date.
