Rachelle Ross

Rachelle Patton-Ross 61, passed away peacefully on Sunday Februrary 13, 2022 with her family by her side. Rachelle and Roxanne were born October 4, 1960 to Margo Katharine Bradley of Des Moines and James Wade Patton from Gramblin, LA.

Service for Rachelle will be held Saturday February 19, 2022 at 3:00 pm at Corinthian Baptist Church.

Rachelle attended and graduated from Des Moines Technical High School (Go Engineers) in 1980. After graduating she met the love of her life, Warner Ross Sr. they courted each other before marriage on September 12, 1998. Their union was blessed with two children, Porsha Sharell Ross and Warner Ross Jr.

Rachelle enjoyed working in customer service. She also worked for Philadelphia Seventh Day Adventist Church where she was baptized in 1997 and became a member. Rachelle had a passion for cooking and catering her grandmothers favorite foods. Rachelle had a heart of gold to feed others. She left her house open for anyone in need. Rachelle enjoyed watching game shows, dancing, listening to music, attending concerts, shopping around town, and most of all she enjoyed spending time with her family. GO CHIEFS....

She leaves to cherish her memory her husband, Warner Ross Sr.; children, Porsha Ross and Warner Ross Jr.; her granddaughter, Mia Ross; a child she was raising, Jazmine Bragg (Jazzy); siblings, Marguerite Patton (John Bragg), Donna Wesley (Marvin), best friend, Tonya Kitchens, Traci Richardson, Greg Patton, Katario Patton, Gerald (Lorie) Patton, Kourtney (Bubba) Patton, Cory Williams (Sarah), Jay Singelton (Anna), all of Des Moines; Lisa Patton of Overland Park, MO; Kathy Jones of Los Angeles, CA; Jeanette Mitchell (Dennis), Sybil Perry, Keith Onley (Alissa) of Ocean Springs, MS. and a host of nieces and nephews.
