Phyllis Long-Aaron

Phyllis Long-Aaron, 38, of Des Moines, Iowa, passed away on Monday, March 17, 2025, at Broadlawns Medical Center in Des Moines, Iowa.

Phyllis Ann Long-Aaron was born on August 18, 1986 to Bobby Ray and Denise Marie (Rife) Aaron. She graduated from Tech High School in Des Moines, Iowa.

Phyllis was blessed with three children, Sabu Johnson, Brandiajia Blessing’ Anderson and Brandon Anderson Jr.

Phyllis passed away on March 17, 2025. She was preceded in death by her parents, Bobby Ray and Denise Marie (Rife) Aaron; nephew, Ronald (Buck) Buchanan Jr.; niece, Brandgia Cason and grandparents.

Phyllis leaves behind to cherish in memory are her children, Sabu Johnson, Brandiajia Anderson and Brandon Anderson Jr.; siblings, Sabu Long, Melva Coleman, Eugenia Coleman, Brandon Cason, Shy Lamar Long, Davon Holder and Dorrian Holder; along with a host of aunts, uncles, nieces, nephews, cousins and friends.
