Paye Blawou passed away on June 23, 2020.

Services were held on Saturday July 11, 2020 at 11:00 AM at The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-Day Saints on Evergreen Ave.

Paye 'Jeff' Blawou was born on June 6, 1989 to Washington and Annie (Crayeah) Blawou, in Liberia, West Africa. The family relocated to the United States and settled in Detroit, MI to start a new life. They would later move to Des Moines, IA where Paye spent most of his adolescent years and graduated from Valley High School.

Paye went on to continue his education at Des Moines Area Community College and Vatterot College where he studied business, and UTI College in Phoenix, AZ, where he studied automobile mechanics and being an electrician. After finishing school he worked as a self employed mechanic. Paye life time dream was to open up his own mechanic shop and provide top notch service to his customers.

During his free time Paye loved spending time with his family, having a good time no matter what he was doing. He primarily enjoyed fishing, riding bikes and cooking. He also enjoyed listening to music specifically songs by his favorite artist, Tupac.

Paye passed away on June 23, 2020. He was preceded in death by his father, Washington Blawou..

Left to cherish Payes memory is his fianc, LaToyia Patton; children, Lobrian Blawou, Justin Blawou, Jeremiah Blawou, Lapayeia Blawou and one son on the way; bonus children, Lacyia Martin, Latalyia Dennis and Quinziyah Dennis; mother, Annie Blawou; siblings, Jeff Cooper, Dornynnah Blawou, Docontee Blawou, Sam J. Glaweah and Leo Blawou and a host of other relatives and friends. Visitation
