Patricia Ann Brown

Patricia Ann Brown was born in Iowa City IA., to Fred an Angela Bell on March 14, 1947.

Patricia attended the Des Moines Public Schools and graduated from Roosevelt High. After graduating high school Patricia married the love of her life Anthony Maylon Brown, who referred to her as "SWEETIE". Together they raised three beautiful children, Royca, Shawn, and Angela.

Patricia continued her education and received her Masters Degree from Drake University. She spent over 37 years teaching in the Pleasant Hill District and the Des Moines Public Schools. Her students and co-workers had such special relationships. They loved her! She was also an avid reader.

Patricia accepted Christ at and early age and went home to be with the Lord on November 28, 2021. Preceding her in death were her parents, Fred and Angela Bell.

Patricia leaves to cherish her memories her husband, Anthony Maylon Brown; her children, Royca Irvin, Shawn Brown and Angela Brown; her only granddaughter, Tianna Brown, 3 grandsons, Shawn Brown, Jr., Jordan Brown, and Kaylon Brown; 3 great-grand sons, Bennet Brown, Cameron Brown and Zaki Brown and a host of extended family, friends and formers students.
