Patricia A Kaufman

Patricia Ann (Prothero) Kaufman was born February 28, 1953 to Edwin Prothero and Daisy (Roush) Groves in California. The family relocated to Des Moines where she attended Lincoln High School before joining the world of work.

Patricia worked as a housekeeper before starting her most important job - being a mother. Patricia was the mother of six sons and one daughter. She lived for her children and they were devoted to their mother. That was until the grandchildren came along. Patricia loved to dance, fish, garden play bingo and cards and SPOIL HER GRANDKIDS. She made homemade Easter baskets for each of them. She loved telling them stories of her childhood and the trips she used to take.

On April 3, 2016 Patricia stepped from time into eternity surrounded by her family. She was 63 years old. She was welcomed to the other side by her father, Edwin Prothero and her brother, Charles Prothero.

Left to mourn her leaving are her mother, Daisy Groves; her daughter, Jeanene, Kaufman; her sons, Albert and Dennis Daggett, Mike and Matthew Kaufman, Jason and Jess Rand; her brothers Edwin and Rick Prothero and her sister, Pam Prothero along with 27 grandchildren, numerous great grandchildren and many, many friends.
