Patience Wolee

Patience Wolee was born on January 1, 1976 to Youboty and Mary (Deh) Wolee, in Liberia West Africa. She lived in Liberia for the majority of her life before relocating to the United States in 2004.



Patience was a beautician by trade. She was known throughout the Des Moines area for her unique braiding styles. Patience took pride in her skill and had dreams of owning her own salon. In her free time Patience enjoyed spending time with her family and friends whenever she could.



Patience passed away on October 26, 2016. She was reunited on the other side by her sister, Evelyn. Patience leaves to cherish her memory her four children, Levi, Ishmael, David and Brian; her parents, Youboty and Mary Wolee; her siblings, Princess, Blagbloh, Garrison, Ellis and a host of other relatives and friends.
