Pamela Kay Anderson

Pamela Kay (Friedel) Anderson was born February 20, 1959 in Sac City, Iowa to George and Venieta E.(Sircoloumb - Myers) Friedel. She was raised in Des Moines and attended Des Moines Tech High School. After graduation Pamela worked as a cashier for several firms.

Pamela loved playing Bingo and crocheting things for her family. She was a country music fan and counted Loretta Lynn as one of her favorite singers. Pam was a good cook and you could count on her to bring something tasty to the family get togethers.

Pamela and Richard got married in 2001. They had fun together and made each other laugh. They loved and cared for each other until Pamela passed away on July 13, 2017 at the University Hospital in Iowa City.

Left to cherish Pamela's memory are her husband Richard; her children Dale (Becky) Friedel, Angelia (Jose) Sanchez, Joey (Rhiannon) Burton, Susan (Henry) Alvarez; her siblings, Nancy Edwards, Diane Akin, Brenda Bouland, Wanda Sparks, Melisa Bowers and Kevin Sparks along with 16 grandchildren, 2 great grandchildren and two more on the way; a host of nieces, nephews, extended family and friends.
