Noella Windsor was born August 24, 1947 to Wesley Graves and Lassie (Johnson) Weatherspoon in St. Louis Missouri. She was raised and educated in the area, graduating from Montgomery City High School. Noella would go on to work as a Certified Nursing Assistant for many years. Eventually, she would work for the St. Vincent De Paul Thrift Store until her retirement.
Noella professed Jesus Christ as her Lord and Savior at a young. age. During her adult years she was a member of Mission Temple Church of God in Christ and Emmanuel Church of God in Christ. Her long time service earned her a position on the Mothers Board where she continued to serve diligently. Her presence will truly be missed especially her renditions of "Amazing Grace" and "The Lord is Blessing Me".
Noella was a music lover. She enjoyed not just gospel classics but the down home blues as well. Her favorites were B.B. King and Ronnie Baker Brooks. Her other favorite past times were crocheting and playing cards. Above all she loved to spend time with her family.
On December 20, 2019 Noellas work on this side was complete. She was greeted on the other side by some familiar faces: a son, Arvel Windsor Jr.; her parents, Lassie Weatherspoon and Wesley Graves; a sister, Janie and a brother, Willie.
