Nathan Gerald Mulvihill was born on September 6, 1943 in Pittsburg, Pennsylvania to Richard Mulvihill and Pearl Augustine Gotto. Nathan and his family relocated to Chicago, Illinois where he attended and graduated from the Chicago Public School System.
After high school, Nathan enlisted in the Army where he served our country in the Vietnam War.
Nathan met and later married Cheryl in 1968 in Aurora, IL. On August 17th, they celebrated 52 years of marriage. From that union they had two daughters, Stasi and Mindi.
Throughout his career after the military, Nathan held many jobs: he was a manager for Aamaco, a chimney sweep, and he worked as a Video Server. Nathan was a great man with a good sense of humor and was always joking around. He loved to cook and was good at it too. Nathan taught a pressure cooking class on how to BBQ. He was a Chicago Bears and Cub fan. He enjoyed watching movies like The Godfather, Shawshank and Star Wars.
Nathan passed away on September 23, 2022. He is preceded in death by his mother, Pearl Augustine Gotto; siblings, Michael, Richard, Hugh, Barb, Danny, and David; and by Buzz the Cat
Left to cherish his memories are his wife, Cheryl Mulvihill; his daughters, Stasi and Mindi; brother, Wally Recter; grandchildren, Lena, Nathan, Josie, and Josh; great grandchildren, Malcolm and Issac; and a host of extended family and friends.
