Prince Darlingboy Wesseh was born at the Catholic Hospital, Monrovia, Liberia, West Africa on December 28, 1976 to Martha Freeman-Byrge and Eugene Byrge. He attended the Isaac Davis Elementary School in Paynesville, Liberia; Monrovia College, in Monrovia, Liberia; the A.M.E. Zion Academy, Monrovia , Liberia and then graduated from the Rock International School in Paynesville, Liberia. He also attended a Computer School on the Old Road, Sinkor, Monrovia, Liberia.



Prince, affectionately called "Mr. President" and "G-Money" enjoyed music and dancing. While a child, he performed on stage in different areas including Firestone and Harbel. Prince was a very friendly person who never met a stranger. He also loved sports, especially soccer. He was devoted to his family and loyal to his many friends.



Prince attended the J. E. Marshall United Methodist Church on Barnesville Road. It was there that he was involved in Sunday School with his siblings; it was also there that his natural leadership talent was observed among his peers.



Prince moved to the United States in April of 2012. He lived in Chicago, Illinois; Upland, California; Blair, California and later moved to Des Moines, Iowa. He worked for the Farmland Company in Miliad, Missouri.



Prince Darlingboy Wesseh departed this life on March 24, 2014 at the University of Iowa Hospital in Iowa City, Iowa. He is survived by his parents, Martha and Eugene Byrge of Liberia; his daughter, LaKisha Wesseh; two sisters, Gertrude Sehneah of Des Moines, Iowa and Victoria Koffa of Liberia; one brother, Edwin Crusoe of Providence, Rhode Island; nephews, nieces, uncles and aunts; a host of cousins, other relatives and friends of the United States and Liberia.
