Mr. Lindsay Harris Sr

Mr. Lindsay Lindell Harris, Sr. was born July 12, 1941 to Walter and Nora Harris in Arkansas. He was raised and educated in Milwaukee, Wisconsin Schools where he graduated from Milwaukee High School. Shortly after high school he enlisted in The United States Army.

Lindsay later moved to Minneapolis and then Des Moines, IA in 2002 where he settled down. He worked for the railroad until he retired.

Lindsay had a great sense of humor and was always the life of the party. He loved to talk and have conversations with family and friends. He enjoyed dancing, playing cards, and shooting pool. Lindsay was always there to help others.

Lindsay passed away on August 5, 2014 at the age of 73. He is preceded in death by his parents, Walter Harris and Nora Bynum; and his brothers, Homer Harris and Willie Bynum.

Left to cherish his memory is his wife, Annette Teasley; his children, Ronald Harris, Lindsay Harris, Jr., Angelique Bell, Lakesha Harris, Lacresha Harris, Cornovis Teasley, Jeremiah Teasley, Anthony Robinson, Jr., and Michael Teasley; many grandchildren, great grandchildren, and great great grandchildren; along with a host of extended family and friends.
