Michelle Denise Hart

Michelle Denise Hart passed away at University of Iowa Hospital on September 7, 2018.

Michelle was the daughter of Harold McFeders and Helen Francis Baker (Thompson). She was a graduate of Des Moines Tech High School.

Michelle liked to shop and sleep. She loved rummage and garage sales and got excited when she made a great find. Buying and selling turned her into an entrepreneur. She had an online business selling high end purses. She had a beautiful voice and would sing around the house. Michelle was good with plants and even had a garden, but she wasn't fond of the outside-too many bugs, she said. She was a good cook and her chicken and noodles were great; along with her jello cake. But the biggest joy in Michelle's life were her grandchildren and great grandson. She loved her babies.

After a courageous fight, Michelle won the battle and went home to be with the Lord. She was 56 years old. Preceding her in death were her parents, Harold McFeders and Helen Thompson; her daughter, Marie Compuzano and brother, Steve Scott.

Michelle leaves fond memories with her daughter, Jasmin; her companion, Marty Hart Sr; her step-sons, Michael Hart and Marty Hart Jr.; her grandchildren, Helena, Kitana, Akira, Detavious, Marcellus, Emory, Malaysia and Demetrius; her great grandson, Caius; siblings, Debbie Hawkins, Carol Scott, Donna Abbot , Dawn McFeders, Robert King and Dwayne King, along with extended family and friends.Memorial Visitation
