Maurice (Moe) Eubanks, Jr., the son of the Maurice Sr. and DeVelma (Hall) Eubanks, was born on December 7, 1963 in Des Moines, Iowa. He departed this life on Monday, May 25, 2015.
Moe was educated in the Des Moines school district graduating from
Roosevelt High School and then receiving a degree from American
Institute of Business in 1984.
He attended and was baptized at the Corinthian Baptist Church at a very young age where he participated in the children's choir.
Moe was a very dedicated worker of the McDonalds Corporation. He started working there at the age of 17 and ended his tenure as a Breakfast Manager in the Mercy Hospital location in August of 2014 after 34 years of service.
He was a gentle man. When he was not hiding from his sisters, he spent his time working and watching sports and movies. He was an avid comic book collector and loved him some Cameo - "Word Up".
Preceding him in death were his maternal grandparents, Vera and Caroll Hall, paternal grandparents, Frazier and Helen Eubanks, his aunt
Barbara McGregor, uncle Delmer Eubanks and cousin Marvin "Stacy" Brown.
He leaves to cherish his memory, his parents Maurice Sr. and DeVelma
Eubanks of Des Moines, sisters, JaDeane Stewart (Beadle), Denice
Douglas (Napoleon) and Maureen Brewer of Des Moines, Roxanne Cole (Steward) of Centreville, VA and Helen Drew (Edward) of Chicago, IL.
Nieces and nephews: Melody Douglas, Napoleon M. Douglas, Danielle Stewart, Alex Cole, Austin Cole and Jayla Drew. Great nephew: Camden Cole.
Aunts and uncles: Marvin and Shirley Brown, Patrick and Olabelle Black, Vera Pillow, Beverly Graves, Harold Hall, Constance Key.
