Marvel Deanna Wells was born August 14, 1959 in Quincy, Illinois to Robert lee and Rosalee Tate Wells.
Marvell was educated in the Keokuk Public School System where she graduated from Keokuk High School. After graduation she moved to Des Moines.
Marvel was a member of New Beginnings Family Church where she joined under Bishop E. L. Dillard over 18 years ago. She was a faithful member, attending nearly every Sunday.
Marvel liked to go shopping and sometimes watching television. She especially enjoyed listening to music. One of her greatest joys was playing with her nieces and nephews or the children at her sisters' day care. Marvels generous nature led her to buy pizza and punch for the children every Wednesday. And Marvel had a passion for coffee! You never saw her without her large cup of coffee.
On November 7, 2014, Jesus whispered Marvel's name. She answered His call and quietly slipped away. Preceding her in death were her parents, Robert and Rosalee Wells and her brother, Clyde Wells.
Marvel leaves fond memories with her siblings, Robert Wells, Jr of California, Debbie Wells of Des Moines, IA, Darryl Wells of Keokuk, IA, Vickie Bradley of Keokuk, IA, David Wells of Keokuk, IA, Robin Head of Des Moines, IA, Jody Wells of California and Shawn Barskowski of Cedar Rapids, Iowa; 16 nieces and nephews; her special friend Robbie and a host of extended family and friends.
