Maecaila Desiray Adams

MaeCaila  Desiray Adams passed away January 12, 2023. Family and friends are full of questions on Why? How? Who?  They are praying that the authorities in Georgia will be able to answer those questions. In the meantime, Corey and Shakeela Adams are taking care of their grand children and trying to lay their daughter to rest.

 A memorial visitation will be held from 2-4 pm on Saturday, February 11, 2023 at Henderson's Funeral Home. 

 Ms. MaeCaila Adams was born in Des Moines, but shortly after her birth her family moved to Columbus, GA where her father, Corey was stationed in the service. 

MaeCaila graduated from Penn Foster High School and wanted to go to Cosmetology school like her mother, Shakeela. The pandemic lock down changed those plans and she needed to support herself and her children. She was working as a security guard at the time of her death

.

MaeCaila was a free spirit. She was fun and spontaneous, preferring to go shopping and hang out with friends. Life was meant to be fun! .She loved taking selfies and was rarely without her phone. An absolute Fashionista, she loved hair, nails and clothes.

A Go Fund Me has been established to help defray funeral costs and assist her parents in caring for her children Prince (5),  Derrick,(1) and Marquis (7 months). You may donate to the family or to the funeral home.
