Linda Popp

.Linda Joan Popp was born March 31, 1941 in Moline Illinois to Emiel and Ora Elizabeth (Churchil) Ryckaert.

Linda graduated from Allemen High School in Rock Island, Illinois. She and Dennis Popp were married May 5, 1962 at St. Ambrose Catholic Church in Milan, Illinois. They settled in Des Moines and Linda found employment at Travelers Insurance as a claims adjuster.

Beside work, Linda was very busy with her children and church. She was a faithful member of Holy Trinity, serving as a lecturer and Eucharistic Minister. She enjoyed sewing, needlework, lots of crafts, fishing and gardening. She loved family gatherings and spending time with her grandchildren and great granddaughter.

On October 1, 2015 an angel whispered Linda's name. She answered and left to join the celebration in Heaven. She joins her parents, Emiel ad Ora Ryckaert.

Left to celebrate Linda's memory are her husband of 53 years, Dennis Popp; her children Kathleen Lynn Overholser (Michael) and Matthew Dennis Popp (Chrystal); her grandchildren, Kyle Michael Overholser (Kellee), Kaelyn Marie Overholser and Beonica Popp and her great granddaughter, Mara Oliva Overholser along with extended family and friends.
