Liblydeh Lorenca York

Libydeh Lorenca York was born March 3, 1985 in Zwedru Grand Gedeh, Liberia, West Africa, to Jacob and Nancy Gayee York. She was attended and graduated from Peace Town High School in the Ivory Coast. Libby escaped the civil war and came to America for a new life.



Once in America Libby and her son joined the Church of the Open Bible. She loved reading books of all kinds and spending time with her family and friends. She was a great cook and a good dancer. Libby also loved Liberian music.



On February 29, 2016, Jesus whispered Libby's name and she answered His call. She was 31 years old. She was preceded in death by her father, Jacob York.



Left to cherish Libby's memory are her son, Shadrach; her mother, Nancy G. York; her siblings, Thomas, Chea, Soah, Nyonoh-Zpue, Bartue, Caroline, Bob, Nyowpoune, Bondeah, Grogweh and Conandenow York along with extended family and friends.
