Kevin Miles Bolden

Kevin Miles Bolden, 67, March 4, 1954 - November 21, 2021 Kevin Bolden transitioned from his mortal life on November 21, 2021 after a long battle with several health issues.

Kevin grew up in and was educated in Des Moines, IA. He graduated with a degree in Journalism from Drake University. Kevin worked hard to achieve his goals and leave an example for his children. Kevin is a member of Omega Psi Phi Fraternity. He enjoyed spending his free time fishing, watching the Iowa Cubs and Chicago Bears.

Kevin is survived by ex-wife, Shirley Bolden; daughter, Kimberly Bolden; son, Kaleb Bolden, and nephew, Andre Lyle. Four grandchildren, Kimarry Wright, Kasiya-Rayshelle Taylor-Bolden, Kani Taylor and. Kyia Taylor; sisters, Cynthia Moore, Fannette Elliott, Theresa Elliott, and brother, Shedrick Elliott Jr., along with several nephews, nieces and cousins.

Kevin was proceeded in death by his Mother, Janice Darlene Lyle, Shedrick Elliott Sr. Grandmother, Vivian Marcella Bolden, and brother, Victor Lyle.
