The Obituary
Kevin Lawrence Jackson was born on November 19, 1969 to Willie King and Gloria Jackson in Texas. The family relocated to Des Moines, Iowa where he graduated from Hoover High School. Kevin continued his education at Simpson College and earned a degree in Business Administration.
Kevin was a great provider for his family spending most of his working days as a Client Services Specialist. He worked for Finastra and North Forty Miniature Golf.
November 11, 1995, Kevin joined Christina Marie Schaul in Holy Matrimony. To this union, two daughters were born, McKenzie and Jaylyn.
Kevin was affiliated with the Mt. Hebron Missionary Baptist Church under the leadership of Rev. Dr. Bobby L. Young.
Kevin was a strong, loving, compassionate and dependable person. He enjoyed sports and action movies. His favorite team was the Dallas Cowboys. Kevin also loved Marvel movies, X-Men in particular.
Kevin enjoyed doing yard work. Weekly, he would alternate which direction he would mow his lawn so it could look perfect every time. Kevin was so proud of his yard sometimes he would just stand outside and look around his lawn. He also enjoyed cooking and fixing things.
Kevin enjoyed life to the fullest and enjoyed moments the most when he was surrounded by family members and close friends. Date night with his daughters, McKenzie and Jaylyn were ongoing father and daughter highlights. Kevin will be remembered as an awesome son, husband, father and all around good person to be around.
