Kelly Wilcots passed away on August 20, 2019, at her home in Chicago, Illinois.

The daughter of Cartrell Wilcots and Charlotte (Dixon) Wilcots attended and graduated from Des Moines Tech High. Kelly received a bachelors degree in Political Science from Drake University .

Kelly is survived by her life partner, Carlos Renteria; her siblings, Gary K. (Barbara) Wilcots, Brett K. Wilcots, Linda (Charles) Zanders; her aunts, Mary Lynne Jones, Linda Dixon, Virgie Monroe, Lois Newcomb, Angeline Lucas and Imogene Henry; her uncles, Henry "Hank" Wilcots, and Michael Wilcots; very special cousins, Kristi Bailey, Melissa Jones and Viet Mandley; nephews, Christoper Wilcots, Charles "Austin" Zanders Kellen Zanders and her tabby cat, Sanjaya.Visitation
