Junior Lowe

Junior Lee Lowe was born April 1, 1939, in Springfield, MO, the only child of Mary Lowe and Richard Small.

Junior received his primary education while serving in the United States Army. After his discharge he obtained employment at John Deere where he worked for over 30 years.

Junior married the love of his life, Marjorie Marie Harris on January 31, 1959. They met at a friends house and Junior said, "It was love at first sight." when he wasnt working, Junior loved camping, fishing, hunting, and bowling until he hurt his back. He was still able to fish and enjoyed doing so as often as he could. And his wife was right by his side.

Junior started life as a hard person. After he gave his life to the Lord, he changed for the good. He became a faithful member of the Mt. Olive Missionary Baptist Church. Junior served as a Deacon, a trustee and sang with the Mens Chorus where he also played the guitar.

Junior passed away on October 11, 2017 with his family by his side. He was 78 years old. Preceding him in death was his father, Richard Small; his mother, Mary M. Lowe; his sons, Vincent and Junior "Butch" Lowe.

Junior is survived by his wife, Marjorie Lowe; his son, Joseph Lowe; his daughter, Beverly Lowe-Johnson (David Johnson); grandchildren, Jollene (Rev. Brandon) Spriggs, Lisa Lowe, Beverly (Adam) Harper, Ashley Lowe, Tiffanie Johnson, Angie Johnson and Morgan Lowe; great-grandchildren, Charlie Harper, Jasmine Spriggs, Bo Harper, and Hendrix Hinton along with countless nieces, nephews and cousins.
