Juanita L. Wells

Juanita L. Wells was born April 22, 1966, in Hamilton, Ohio, to Ronald Goins and Lana Sue Shazier Smiley. She then relocated to Des Moines, Iowa, where she attended school and graduated from Roosevelt High School. Juanita continued her education into college before going on to open "Juanita's Cleaning Service".

Juanita married David Trent, in Colorado and has spent eleven amazing years with him.

Juanita was a member of Present Truth Ministries, serving God by assisting with Church hospitality.

Juanita will be remembered as a loving, fair, and giving person. There wasnt a single thing Juanita wouldnt do for you. She loved spending time with her family and friends, watching movies, cooking delicious food for her family, neighbors, and even the homeless (her baked spaghetti, cakes, and brownies will be greatly missed), traveling, playing clarinet, but most of all she loved helping others.

Juanita transitioned to eternity March 27, 2021. She is preceded in death by her parents, Ronald Goins and Lana Sue Shazier Smiley; grandparents, Katherine Shazier and Allen Shazier; brother, Christopher Smiley; and the woman who raised her, Joyce Washington.

Juanita is survived by her husband, David Trent; children, April Wells, Quinton Wells, and Pierre Sudberry; siblings, Tilanda (DeAndrew) Kennedy, Rhashida (Chris) Hassan, Davida Price, Pamela Goins, Ronald (Tanicia) Goins, Jr., Patrick Goins, Michael (Stephanie) Goins, and Carleetha Goins; and three beautiful grandchildren, Aleyna Kashama, Jazzlynn Consuela Salazar Wright and JaNayla Rae Caflisch Sudberry.

Future services will be held by Thompson Hall & Jordan Funeral Home in Cincinnati, Ohio on April 17, 2021.
