Juanita J. Wilson-Young, born Juanita Joan Wilson was welcomed by her parents Melvin Wilson and Sophie Mae (Irby) Wilson on September 30, 1952, in Farrell, Pennsylvania. She was raised and educated in the area graduating from Farrell Senior High School with the class of 1970. Juanita would go on to further her education at a business college in Pittsburg, Pennsylvania. Over the past 10 years, she took great joy in her work for Unity Point at Methodist Medical Center as a Patient Access Coordinator.
Juanita was a prayer warrior and thoroughly enjoyed praise and worship! Every Tuesday and Thursday at 6:30 a.m., she was on the prayer line. Every Wednesday night at 7:00 p.m. was family prayer. She would even pray with those she helped at the hospital! You could say that Juanita truly believed in the power of prayer.
If you wanted to find her, chances are that she was at church praying, volunteering and working in the childrens ministry. She also enjoyed coming to her daughters house and watching HGTV, going to family reunions, loving on her grandchildren and the grand-dog Mercedes.
On November, 12, 2021, Juanita Joan Wilson-Young stepped from time into eternity.
She is preceded in death by her Parents, Melvin and Sophie Wilson and her son, Chandler Wilson.
