Jonathan Lamont Morning

Jonathan Lamont Morning,  45 of Des Moines, passed away on Monday, June 3, 2024.

Jonathan Lamont Morning was born August 24, 1978, to John and Bobbie (Ford) Morning in Davenport,
Iowa. He began his education in the Davenport School System. He loved to research and self-study. He
was always eager to learn more and improve himself. Those ambitions led him to Des Moines, IA where
he began his dream of becoming self-employed, and was very successful in accomplishing that.
Jonathan was very big on health and fitness. He spent many hours at the gym exercising and lifting
weights.

What he cherished the most, was spending time with his children, his family, coordinating cookouts, and
bringing family together.

Left to cherish his memories are his parents, John, and Bobbie Morning.
Children; Jonathan Jr., Jonaeshia Morning, Antonio Koenig, Xavier Serrano, Elijah Morning, A’myah
Morning, Azaria Morning, J’Merrion Morning, JonTarius Morning, and Jonti’Ana Morning.
Siblings; Katrina Dixon, Sabrina Morning, Jason Morning, and Lashauna Morning. 5 grandchildren;
A host of aunts, uncles, nieces, nephews, cousins, and friends.
He was preceded in death by his oldest sister Latacha Marie Morning, grandparents, uncle, and
cousins.
