James Curtis Jackson

James Curtis Jackson was born (with a twin brother, Joseph) October 3, 1951 to Arthur Depriest Jackson and Wilma Janet Cochran in Yankton, South Dakota. He moved to Des Moines as a youngster and graduated from North High School. He later attended DMACC..

James liked model airplanes, target shooting, fishing and football and baseball. He was asked to try out for the Kansas Royals and played minor league with them from 1969 to 1971.

James passed away October 22, 2014. He is survived by his twin, Joseph and brother, Barry Jackson; cousin Debra Williams and uncle, William Jackson. He is also survived by his father, Arthur Jackson.

James was cremated and no services are planned.
