Jamarion Jackson, 18, of Des Moines, Iowa, passed away on Wednesday, May 22, 2024, in Des Moines. Visitation will be held on Tuesday, June 4, 2024, from 11:00 a.m. - 1:00 p.m. at Corinthian Baptist Church. His funeral service will follow visitation and begin at 1:00 p.m. at Corinthian Baptist Church. Burial will follow in Glendale Cemetery in Des Moines.
Jamarion Jackson was born on March 24, 2006, in Des Moines, IA to Howard Coakley and Regina Jackson. He was educated through the Des Moines Public School System. Jamarion attended All Point High School and anticipated graduating within the next year.
Jamarion attended God’s House of Power as a member. He was athletic as he played for the Venom Football team and swam recreationally. Jamarion was a rapper and made many songs to share with the world. He had a heart of gold and was willing to give his shirt off his back. Jamarion could EAT and he enjoyed spending time with family.
Jamarion passed away on May 22, 2024. He was preceded in death by great-grandma, Carolyn Burton; grandparents, Jacqueline Coakley and Robert Jackson and Uncle Johnny Lee-Ollie Jackson.
Left to cherish Jamarion in memory are his parents, Regina (Gerald) Johnson and Howard Coakley; sisters, Jazelle Johnson, Kyleah Coakley, Janiyah Lewis; grandparents, Wanda Jackson and Johnny (Nicola) Ollie; aunts and uncles, Angela (Eric) Debove and James (Merica) Jackson; along with a host of siblings, cousins, and girlfriend, Ja’Zara Christopher.
