Jahron D. Parker Obituary (1980

Jahron DLon Parker was born May 7, 1980 in Des Moines, Iowa to David Pickett and Cynthia Parker. He was educated in the Des Moines Public School system, where he graduated. Jahron worked at Jacobson staffing where he had the opportunity to work several different jobs and meet many different people. He was a people person with polite manners and a big smile for all he met. He was very helpful and loyal to his family and friends. Jahron used to be a real big guy, but he got into body building and trimmed down. He like the discipline required in bodybuilding and of course the ladies liked the results, too. Jahron also liked writing poetry and making music. Jahron stepped from time into eternity on December 31, 2014. He was 34 years old. Waiting to welcome Jahron to the other side were his father, David F. Pickett, Jr.; his grandparents, David and Margret Pickett, Elven C. Cortez and Charles L. Parker. Left to cherish Jahron's memory are his daughter, Savanna R. Conner; his mother, Cynthia Parker Walden; stepfather, Darwin Walden; sisters, Accia and Felecia Parker and his brothers Derek Thomas, Jr. and Vincent Jackson along with a host of nieces, nephews, cousins and many friends.
