Jaeden Wells, 20, of Des Moines, Iowa, passed away on Friday, February 7, 2025, in Des Moines, Iowa. Visitation will be on Friday, March 7, 2025, from 12:30 p.m. - 1:30 p.m. at Resurrection Community Church of the Nazarene. Her Homegoing Celebration will follow and begin at 1:30 p.m.
Jaeden Wells was born on June 2nd, 2004, in Des Moines, IA to Teondra Wells. She grew up in Des Moines where she graduated from Hoover High School class of 2022. After high school Jaeden worked at numerous of jobs but found a passion in wanting to make music. Lol “IYKYK”Jaeden was nice in the studio. She loved listening to her some NBA YoungBoy. Jaeden had recently began employment at Hy-Vee Distribution Center.
She was a force of nature bold, radiant, and full of life. A fierce competitor on the basketball court and a shining presence in every room, Jaeden’s confidence, energy, and kindness made her unforgettable. Her legacy will forever echo in the hearts of those who loved her.
Jaeden’s love for basketball was only one piece of the brilliance that made her who she was. Beyond the game, she was a devoted sister, a treasured cousin, a beloved niece, and a loyal friend, someone who could turn even the dullest moment into something bright and full of laughter.
Jaeden was pure joy in motion. Her quick wit and infectious humor made her impossible to forget. She loved without limits, cared with her whole heart, and carried an unshakable spirit. To know her was to be wrapped in warmth, laughter, and light. No one ever left her presence without a smile or a story to tell.
Those left to cherish her in memory are her siblings, Jahsiah Hardat, Janiesha Griffin; aunt, Tanya Wells; uncles, Tyson Wells and Douglas Wells; grandpa Dino Hunley; along with a host of uncles, cousins and additional family members.
Jaeden is lovingly welcomed into heaven by her mother Teondra Wells, grandmother Tina Wells, and great-grandmother Allies Russell, embraced in the everlasting glow of their love. Though she has left this world, her presence remains in every laugh and every golden ray of sunshine she is there. That is where we will find her, forever illuminating our lives.
