Irene Constance Fitzpatrick was born October 27, 1953 in Des Moines, Iowa to Lyvester Fitzpatrick and Margaret E. (Wilson) Fitzpatrick. She was educated in the Des Moines Public School System where she graduated from Des Moines Technical High School. Irene was a good student, and very creative. She loved hair and makeup as a child and her creativity and mastery grew as she did. She obtained her Cosmetology license from the Iowa School of Beauty, but she already had a steady clientele.

Irene confessed Christ as her Lord and Savior at an early age. She has deep roots in the Church of God In Christ. Her great grandparents were the founders of East 17th Street Church of God in Christ.

As Irene grew into herself, she was blessed with a baby girl, Rena. Irene was a family oriented individual who enjoyed being around her family and friends. She loved to socialize. Irene was full of life and enjoyed herself to the fullest. Cooking was one of her fortes. She also enjoyed planting, listening to music, singing and dancing. Irene was always a fashionista. She perfected the "Christie Love" look and was a wonderful model.

On November 27, 2020, Irene transitioned from this earthly life to her eternal life. She is preceded in death by her parents; Lyvester and Margaret E. Fitzpatrick; brother, Daniel Wilson; great grandparents, Mr. and Mrs. Richard Boogie and nephews, Tracy Wilson and Naomis Fitzpatrick.

Irenes positive energy and loving memories will live through her daughter, Rena E. Clark; sisters, Laura Fitzpatrick and Yvonne Fitzpatrick; granddaughter, Charay M. Rhoades; great-grandsons, Michael Rhoades, Jr. and Camdyn Rhoades; nephews, Bruce Wilson and Johnny Bell, IV; nieces, Tiffanie Wilson-Nalls, Moneq Fitzpatrick and Andrea Schrieber, along with a host of extended family members and friends.Visitation
