Harry V. Stewart passed away August 1, 2021.
Harry Vivian Stewart Jr. was born on August 2, 1942 to Harry and Dorothy (Gaskin) Stewart Sr., in Des Moines, IA. He attended school in the Des Moines Public School District and graduated from North High School.
At a young age Harry developed a strong work ethic and worked several jobs throughout his lifetime. His knowledge and affinity for cars helped him to become a well accomplished car salesman. He worked for many years at Dewey Ford until retirement. Now Harry may have enjoyed selling cars but he enjoyed buying them all the more. Harrys favorite past times included watching sporting events and movies on TV, grilling and spending time with his children. In addition, he liked listening to old school R&B music and heading out to the links to play a round of golf.
Family and friends will definitely miss Harrys sense ofhumor that could lighten any mood. He never passed an opportunity to help and encourage others around him. As a father, Harry taught his children the importance of a good work ethic, respect others at all times and toenjoy moments with family wheneverpossible.
On August 1, 2021 Harry made his transition from time into eternity. He was preceded in death by his parents, an infant son; his first wife, Roberta Keesee; and asister, Brenda Gaskin.
