Glenn Leroy Orr

Glenn Leroy Orr, 55, of Grimes, Iowa passed away peacefully on June 27th, 2017. A celebration of life with be held at Henderson's Highland Park Funeral Home, 3500 6th Ave, Des Moines, Iowa on Monday, July 3rd from 2:00 p.m. to 5:00 p.m.



Glenn was born in Chicago, Illinois on January 26th, 1962, to Frank J. and Lucia Rose Orr. He graduated from high school in Booneville, Arkansas and shortly after he joined the Army and spent 3 years serving. You could always find him working on or building a car, or riding his Harley Davidson. He endured many adventures throughout his life and lived with no regrets.



Glenn is survived by his wife of 25 years, Michaela (Michelle) Orr; four children: Glenna Hays, Glenn Robert (Robin) Orr, Nathan (Mary) Heglin and Amanda (Charles) Stanton; four brothers: Terry (Denice) Orr, James (Nancy) Orr, Robert (Teresa) Orr and Dean (Lovie) Orr; three sisters: Lisa (Saul) Jacome, June (John) Bewley and Rose Moore; seven grandchildren and many nieces, nephews and cousins. He was proceeded in death by his parents; a brother, Lester Allen Orr; a sister, Victoria June Orr, and two nieces. . Visitation
