Frank Renfro Jr

Frank Terrence Renfro, Jr. was born May 6, 1991 to Penny (King) and Frank Renfro, Sr. in Des Moines, IA.

Frank Jr. received his primary education in the Des Moines Public School system and he was a graduate of Des Moines East High School.

After graduation, Frank was employed by the Budweiser Corporation as a fork lift operator.

Work was important to Frank, but more important was family. He was family oriented, choosing to spend quality time with his children and siblings before anyone else. Frank Jr. worked alongside his father doing yard work. Frank Sr. was also his son's best friend. Like most young men, Frank Jr. loved music, nice cars and video games. He learned to play the saxophone, was a good cook and was studying to take his CDL license for over the road trucking. Frank Jr. was friendly, sociable and responsible, and Frank Jr. loved the ladies and they loved him back, but his daughter, Frankie and son Kiren were his heart.

And suddenly he was gone. Frank Jr. was taken from us, much too soon, on June 1, 2013. He was only 22 years old. Preceding Frank Jr. in death were his grandfathers, Leon B. King and Frank Tolson.

Left to cherish Frank Jr.'s memory are his children Frankie and Kiren Renfro; his parents, Penny and Frank Renfro, Sr.; his brothers Trond King and Chase (Angela) King; his sister Zeare' Renfro; his grandparents, Penny King and Genevieve Tolson; his god sister, Addisha Mosby along with a host of aunts, uncles, nieces, nephews, cousins, and many friends.
