Earl Floyd Stone

Earl Floyd Stone, 86, passed away peacefully on June 4, 2017 at Parkridge Specialty Care Center.

Earl was the only remaining child of Barney and Myrtle (Proctor) Stone. he was born in Louisville, Kentucky, on November 6, 1930. His parents and all his siblings are now deceased.

Earl was a generous person; always willing to help. He had a lawn care concern and never minded cutting the grass or shoveling snow for his elderly neighbors. He loved to walk and ride his bicycle. Every day he made his way to the store for a little candy and a Pepsi. He was very knowledgeable about the DART system and frequently rode the bus for outings in the city. Earl liked to eat out and go to the movies. His favorite TV show was 'Dancing with the Stars'.

Earl was a member of St. Ambrose Catholic Church. Most of all, Earl loved his family. He loved family get together's and he loved buying you a gift for no reason at all.

Earl's family would like to say a most sincere 'Thank you' to the Nursing staff at Parkridge Specialty Care Facility for their and kindness. Family to do services at later date
