Douglas W. May passed away on February 13, 2021.

Douglas Warren May was born on December 10, 1941 to Melvin James May and Alise Doyle May in Des Moines, Iowa. He attended high school in the Des Moines School District and graduated from Tech High School.

At a young age Doug developed a strong work ethic and entered the workforce. He worked several jobs throughout his career. The majority of those years he worked as a custodial engineer for St. Marks Lutheran Church. In his free time Doug enjoyed listening to music, watching sports and other tv shows, and attending family gatherings.

Douglas went to be with the Lord on February 13, 2021. He was preceded in death by his parents, Melvin James May and Alise Doyle May; his wife, Kay Woods May; sister, Pam May Valdez; and cousin, Bridget Stovall Butts.

Left to cherish his memory are his son, Orlando May; sister, Ingrid May and a host of other relatives and friends which he loved.

Dougs sense of humor and laughter will be greatly missed.
