Deondra Ashby

DeOndra Tolson was born to Phillip Mozee and Janet Tolson on April 18, 1985, in Des Moines, Iowa. She was raised and educated in the area, graduating from Roosevelt High School with the class of 2002. In 2003, DeOndra and Antonio Ashby were united in marriage. Together, they made their home in Des Moines, Iowa to raise their family.

DeOndra was a quiet, soft-spoken woman who loved spending time with her children as well as her nieces and nephews. She liked listening to music and dancing. DeOndra was a member of the "Dj Vu" drill team.

On September 14, 2018, DeOndra Ashby stepped from time into eternity. She is preceded in death by her father, Phillip Mozee; sister, Tyanne Duncan; maternal grandparents, William and Nellie Tolson; paternal grandparents, Edna Fugate and Frank Mozee Sr.

Left to cherish her memory is her husband, Antonio Ashby; children, Dontez Ashby, Trinity Tolson, Billie Byrd-Tolson, Christopher Byrd-Tolson, DeOndrea Byrd-Tolson; mother, Janet Tolson; siblings, Moniqueca Duncan, Phillip (Shannon) Duncan, Shawntel (Brent) Sahm, Phyllisha Duncan, Syreeta Mozee, Amanda Duncan, Anthony Mozee, Torional (Rosalyn) Tolson, Barshawnda Lea, Rodney Dysart, Terence (Jessica) Tolson, Janyshya Tolson, LaTyia Johnson; aunt, Mary Louise Duncan; Robin Moon, Brandi Moon and Maurice Moon. along with extended family and countless friends.
