Delona "Loney" Mae Ashby; a mother, grandmother, daughter, sister, aunt and friend to many was called to heaven Friday, December 1st at Lakeland Regional Medical Center in Florida.

Born September 1, 1954, in Des Moines, Iowa, Loney was the second oldest of six children born to Emma Lou Allen and Logan Thompson.

Loney took joy in fashion and interior design. She was featured in The Des Moines Register Newspaper for her then clothing line.
