Danette Burse

Danette (Dana) Burse, the daughter of Beverly and Charles Reese, and Lawrence Cooley, was born in Des Moines, IA, March 15, 1969. Danette enjoyed a long time relationship with Curtis Taylor Sr. From this relationship, Curtis Taylor Jr. was born. Both parents worked diligently to inspire him to be independent, proud, respectful and successful. After attending Southeast Missouri State University, Danette decided to make a home for her and Curtis Jr. in Florissant, MO.



She accepted Jesus Christ as her Lord and Savior at an early age and is with Him now. Dana enjoyed people and left a lasting impression on everyone she met. Her bright smile would light up the darkest room. Her generous, loyal, fun-loving spirit will be dearly missed.



Dana worked with Enterprise Holdings for 21 years. She was enthusiastic about her job and rarely missed a day. She started as an Administrative Assistant with the company and advanced through the ranks to Finance Manager.



Dana departed this life on September 17, 2014. She was reunited with her grandparents, Betty Wilkerson and Carl Burse Sr.



Left to cherish her memory is her son, Curtis Jr.; parents, Beverly and Charles Reese; father, Lawrence Cooley; brothers, Charles (Stephanie) Reese, Barryre Reese and Sean Cooley; grandparents, William and Mary Bruce and a host of other relatives and friends.
