Connie Carson

Connie Carson passed away on August 2, 2022. A Celebration of Life will be held at the Henderson's Chapel on Friday, August 12, 2022 from 2-4pm.

Connie Carson was born August 8, 1955 to Henry Joseph Carson and Jeanette Carson in Des Moines, IA.

Connie attended and graduated from North High School in Des Moines. After graduation, she spent most of her career as a custodian for DMACC - Urban Campus until she retired in 2014.

Connie had a loving personality. She never met a stranger and could talk to anyone. She was very generous and treated everyone as if they were a friend. She had a memory like an elephant, she could remember everyones birthday. Connie was considered a homebody but didnt sit still. She found joy in playing dominoes, entertaining family/ friends, watching movies and Judge Judy. Connie was a dresser. She loved jewelry and was especially fond of any animal print, especially cheetah print. Connie enjoyed listening to Rap and Funk music and her favorite artist was Juvenile.

On August 2, 2022 Connie passed away. She is preceded in death by her father, Henry Carson; daughter, Cutina Johnson; brother, Joe Carson; and Ex-Husband, Morris Johnson.

Left to cherish Connies memory is her mom, Jeanette Carson; siblings, Victor Carson, Niecey McNeal, Betty Carson, Bud Carson, Marie Carson, and Beverly Carson; grandchild, Cierra Robinson; along with a plethora of nieces, nephews, cousins and friends.
